El professor Miquel Aregay i les professores Montse Sayol i J\u00falia Cuy\u00e0s, del Departament de Disseny Gr\u00e0fic de l\u2019escola, van visitar del 13 al 17 de Mar\u00e7 de 2023 l\u2019Art Academy of Latvia (Riga, Let\u00f2nia) en el marc del programa ERASMUS+. A continuaci\u00f3 ens ofereixen una breu explicaci\u00f3 sobre la seva experi\u00e8ncia:<\/p>\n

\u201cRecentment vam tenir l'oportunitat de visitar l'Art\u00a0Academy\u00a0of\u00a0Latvia\u00a0com a part del programa Erasmus+ per a professorat. La visita va ser molt profitosa i vam tenir l'oportunitat d'explorar aquesta escola d'art tan singular.<\/p>\n

El pa\u00eds en si mateix \u00e9s realment \u00fanic i aix\u00f2 es reflecteix en l'Art Academy of Latvia; l'edifici \u00e9s sorprenent i peculiar i tot i la seva complexitat arquitect\u00f2nica estava ben equipat per a les necessitats dels alumnes i els seus estudis. En cada rac\u00f3 s\u2019hi respirava creativitat!<\/p>\n

En arribar, ens van rebre els i les professores del Departament de Disseny Gr\u00e0fic i de Comunicaci\u00f3 per fer-nos un recorregut, veient els diferents espais del centre, alguns projectes dels alumnes, i la maquin\u00e0ria de la que disposen.<\/p>\n

El que m\u00e9s ens va sorprendre de l'escola va ser la seva estructura i les metodologies de treball. En cada curs els i les alumnes treballen en grups petits d\u2019unes 8 persones, cosa que permet una atenci\u00f3 molt personalitzada al llarg dels estudis. Aix\u00f2 repercuteix en un proc\u00e9s de preparaci\u00f3 i selecci\u00f3 molt rigor\u00f3s per accedir-hi. L'escola destaca tamb\u00e9 per tenir un enfocament en l'artesania i la tradici\u00f3 amb una visi\u00f3 moderna i innovadora, oferint una \u00e0mplia gamma de programes d'estudi, que abasten des del disseny gr\u00e0fic, comunicaci\u00f3 visual, cer\u00e0mica, t\u00e8xtil, escenografia i molts altres.<\/p>\n

La visita a l'Art\u00a0Academy\u00a0of\u00a0Latvia\u00a0va ser una experi\u00e8ncia \u00fanica i inspiradora per a nosaltres i una oportunitat per descobrir una altra escola d'art i disseny i aprendre sobre les seves metodologies. Estem molt agra\u00efts per aquesta oportunitat i esperem tornar a explorar aquest pa\u00eds i la seva cultura.\u201d<\/p>\n

Visit to the Art Academy of Latvia<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The teachers\u00a0 Miquel Aregay, Montse Sayol and J\u00falia Cuy\u00e0s visited the Art Academy of Latvia (Riga, Latvia) from 13 to 17 March 2023 as part of the ERASMUS+ program. Below is a brief explanation of their experience:<\/em><\/p>\n

\"We had the opportunity to visit the Art Academy of Latvia as part of the Erasmus+ program for teachers. The visit was very beneficial and we had the opportunity to explore this very unique institution.<\/em><\/p>\n

The country itself is truly unique, and this is reflected in the Art Academy of Latvia, the building is striking and unique and despite its architectural complexity it \u00a0was well equipped for the needs of the students and their studies. There was creativity in every corner!<\/em><\/p>\n

On arrival, we were greeted by the teachers of the Department of Graphic Design and Communication to give us a tour, seeing the different spaces of the centre and some of the students' projects.<\/em><\/p>\n

What surprised us most about the Academy was its structure and working methods. In each course, students work in small groups of around 8 people, which makes personalized attention possible. The selection process to be accepted into the Academy is every demanding. The Art Academy of Latvia \u00a0also stands out for having a focus on craftsmanship and tradition with a modern and innovative vision, offering a wide range of study programs, ranging from graphic design, visual communication, ceramics, textiles, scenography and many others.<\/em><\/p>\n

The visit to the Art Academy of Latvia was a unique and inspiring experience for us and an opportunity to discover another art and design academy and learn about its methodologies. We are very grateful for this opportunity and look forward to exploring this country and its culture again.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
