Participaci\u00f3 en la VDK International Week a Vilnius<\/b>
\nEls professors i coordinadors ERASMUS de l\u2019Escola d\u2019Art Pau Gargallo Manel Clemente i Carles Torn\u00e9 varen\u00a0<\/span>visitar la Vilnius College of Design a Vilnius (Litu\u00e0nia), en el marc del programa ERASMUS+. L\u2019objectiu de la seva mobilitat\u00a0 era participar en la<\/span>\u00a0VDK International Week 2025 amb una\u00a0 <\/span>confer\u00e8ncia sobre fotografia espanyola contempor\u00e0nia. En paral\u00b7lel la seva visita va servir per consolidar l\u2019acord institucional amb la VDK i per contactar amb professorat de diferents universitats europees.<\/span><\/p>\n

Durant la seva estada varen ser acollits per Viktorija Bo\u010dkut\u0117, cap del Departament de Relacions Internacionals i Gesti\u00f3 de Projectes, que amb l\u2019equip docent de la VDK varen assegurar l\u2019\u00e8xit de la Setmana Internacional. Aquesta, celebrada anualment cada primavera,\u00a0 <\/span>tractava aquest any sobre la intu\u00efci\u00f3 en el m\u00f3n de l\u2019art i el disseny:<\/span><\/p>\n

El lema d'enguany \u00e9s \"Confiar en la intu\u00efci\u00f3 en el disseny actual\". En el m\u00f3n del disseny en constant evoluci\u00f3, la intu\u00efci\u00f3 \u00e9s clau. Es tracta d'equilibrar els teus instints creatius amb rigor intel\u00b7lectual i utilitzar aquesta combinaci\u00f3 \u00fanica per resoldre reptes de disseny. Durant la setmana, explorarem com la presa de decisions intu\u00eftiva afecta el proc\u00e9s creatiu, com fomenta la innovaci\u00f3 i com pot conduir a solucions innovadores i centrades en el disseny.<\/span><\/p>\n

Manel Clemente i Carles Torn\u00e9\u00a0 <\/span>van analitzar el pes de la intu\u00efci\u00f3 en la creaci\u00f3 fotogr\u00e0fica a partir de la seva confer\u00e8ncia sobre fotografia espanyola contempor\u00e0nia, centrada en l\u2019obra de Chema Madoz, Jordi Bernad\u00f3 i Joan Fontcuberta.<\/span><\/p>\n

La setmana va estar plena de debats amb la participaci\u00f3 dels Prof. E. Skerstonas (Litu\u00e0nia) \/ \u00abThe Ideology of Self-Image\u00bb; Prof. Ann Bessemans (B\u00e8lgica) \/ \u00abTypography and its guideing role within ways of reading in a multi-diverse reading landscapes\u00bb; Prof. David Bennewith (Pa\u00efsos Baixos) \/ \"Lighter Writing\";\u00a0 <\/span>Prof. Gail\u0117 Pranck\u016bnait\u0117 i\u00a0 <\/span>Prof. Milda Kurait\u00fdt\u0117 (Litu\u00e0nia) \/ presentaci\u00f3 de\u00a0 <\/span>\"Fonts 2: Methods and Secrets\"; Prof. Dr. Jelena Drobac (S\u00e8rbia) \/ \u201cExploration of forgotten fashion logos from former Yugoslavia (1945\u20131992)\u201c; Prof. A. Janonyt\u0117-Mulien\u0117 (Litu\u00e0nia) \/ \"Intuitive Prints - Between Play and Creativity\" i Prof. Berry Sanders\u00a0 <\/span>(The Netherland) \/ \u201cIntuition\u2019s role in shaping personal and authentic design styles\u201c.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tot el professorat participant va agrair l'estupenda acollida per part del professorat de la Vilnius College of Design aix\u00ed com va elogiar\u00a0 <\/span>la participaci\u00f3 del seu alumnat durant la International Week. <\/span><\/p>\n

The ERASMUS professors and coordinators of the Escola d\u2019Art Pau Gargallo Manel Clemente and Carles Torn\u00e9 visited the Vilnius College of Design in Vilnius (Lithuania), within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program. The objective of their mobility was to participate in the VDK International Week 2025 with a conference on contemporary Spanish photography. In parallel, their visit served to consolidate the institutional agreement with the VDK and to contact professors from different European universities. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

During their stay, they were welcomed by Viktorija Bo\u010dkut\u0117, Head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management, who, together with the VDK faculty team, ensured the success of the International Week. This, celebrated annually every spring, this year dealt with intuition in the world of art and design:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme is \u201cTrusting Intuition in Today\u2019s Design\u201d. In the ever-evolving world of design, intuition is key. It\u2019s about balancing your creative instincts with intellectual rigor, and using this unique mix to solve design challenges. During the week, we will explore how intuitive decision-making impacts the creative process, how it fosters innovation, and how it can lead to groundbreaking, design-centered solutions.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The week was packed with thought-provoking discussions, including\u00a0 <\/span>Prof. Ann Bessemans \u00abTypography and its guiding role within ways of reading in a multi-diverse reading landscapes\u00bb,\u00a0 <\/span>Prof. E. Skerstonas\u2019 (Lithuania) \u201cThe Ideology of Self-Image,\u201d which examined style and fashion through a cross-disciplinary lens. David Bennewith (The Netherlands) introduced \u201cLighter Writing\u201d as an unconventional approach to typography, while Gail\u0117 Pranck\u016bnait\u0117 and Milda Kurait\u00fdt\u0117 (Lithuania) revealed hidden \u201cFonts 2: Methods and Secrets.\u201d, and T. Kliukoit\u2019s (Lithuania) \u201cChemigrams \u2013 Reading the Unconscious\u201d challenged perceptions of visual language. Other highlights included Prof. Dr. Jelena Drobac\u2019s (Serbia) exploration of forgotten fashion logos from former Yugoslavia (1945\u20131992), A. Janonyt\u0117-Mulien\u0117\u2019s (Lithuania) \u201cIntuitive Prints \u2013 Between Play and Creativity,\u201d and Berry Sanders\u2019 (The Netherlands) deep dive into intuition\u2019s role in shaping personal and authentic design styles.<\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n

All participating teachers thanked the wonderful welcome of the Vilnius College of Design and praised the participation of their students during the International Week.<\/em><\/p>\n
