Albert Past\u00f3 ha volgut reflectir les situacions, paisatges i personatges que el nostre protagonista, George Gastin, es va trobant al llarg del seu viatge.<\/p>\n<p>George Gastin es dedica a destrossar cotxes com a part d'un entramat per treure diners a les asseguradores. Un dels cotxes que ha de destruir \u00e9s un Cadillac blanc impol\u00b7lut que suposadament havia de ser un regal per a Big Booper, mort en l'accident aeri que tamb\u00e9 va matar a Buddy Holly i Ritchie Valens. Gastin, en un moment de debilitat, decideix portar el cotxe a trav\u00e9s de l'estat de Texas fins a la tomba de Booper. Carregat d'amfetamines i perseguit per adversaris reals i imaginaris, Gastin empr\u00e8n un road trip de milers de quil\u00f2metres i experi\u00e8ncies. Aquesta \u00e9s la sinopsi de el llibre de Dodge.
