Del 20 al 24 d’Abril del 2026 els professors i coordinadors ERASMUS Manel Clemente i Carles Torné i la professora Carme Puértolas varen visitar la George Enescu National University of Arts in Iași (Rumania), en el marc del programa ERASMUS +.
L’objectiu de les seves mobilitats de docència era consolidar l’acord institucional amb aquest nou partner, presentar les nostres institucions EA Pau Gargallo i ESDAPC campus Pau Gargallo i impartir dues conferències. Una de les mobilitats (Manel Clemente) es va gestionar mitjançant beca zero.
Durant la seva estada varen ser acollits pels professors Phd Oana Maria Nae i Daniel Sofron, pel Vicerector de Relacions Internacionals Prof. PhD Cristian Nicolae Ungureanu i per la Coordinadora de Relacions Internacionals Felicia Balan.
El dia 21 d’Abril els professors Manel Clemente i Carme Puertolas varen impartir la conferència “Three paths to creative photography: a selection of Spanish contemporary photographers”. Aquesta presentació després d’una introducció inicial de diferents estratègies creatives de producció fotogràfica es va centrar en l’anàlisi de l’obra dels fotògrafs Chema Madoz, Jordi Bernadó į Joan Fontcuberta.
El dia 22 d’Abril els professors Manel Clemente i Carles Torné varen impartir la conferència “Controversial monuments in contemporary Europe: Removal, conservation and creation of new memorials. The case of Catalunya”. Aquesta presentació, vinculada a un treball d’investigació de llarga durada, es va vehicular mitjançant una primera introducció a les polítiques de memòria de l’Europa contemporània a partir d’una selecció d’imatges de Manel Clemente de monuments commemoratius a Moscou, Sofia, Tirana, Vilnius / Grutas Park , Tallin, Bucarest i Kiev. A continuació es va centrar en el context de l’estat espanyol i molt especialment de Catalunya a partir dels monuments commemoratius de la Guerra Civil projectats tant durant la dictadura franquista com durant la transició i la democràcia fins als nostres dies, atorgant una especial rellevància als dedicats a la figura de Lluís Companys.
Durant la seva estada els tres professors varen visitar els diferents departaments de la Faculty of Visual Arts and Design de la George Enescu National University of Arts in Iași. Aquesta facultat ofereix estudis de Belles Arts, Arts Aplicades i Disseny a nivell de grau, màster i doctorat. La seva visita va servir per consolidar l’acord institucional amb la nostra escola i preparar futurs projectes comuns en el marc del programa ERASMUS +.

From April 20 to 24, 2026, ERASMUS coordinators and professors Manel Clemente and Carles Torné and professor Carme Puértolas visited the George Enescu National University of Arts in Iași (Romania), within the framework of the ERASMUS + program.
The objective of their teaching mobilities was to consolidate the institutional agreement with this new partner, present our institutions EA Pau Gargallo and ESDAPC campus Pau Gargallo and give two lectures. One of the mobilities (Manel Clemente) was managed through a zero scholarship.
During their stay, they were hosted by Phd professors Oana Maria Nae and Daniel Sofron, by the Vice-Rector for International Relations Prof. PhD Cristian Nicolae Ungureanu and by the Coordinator for International Relations Felicia Balan.
On April 21, professors Manel Clemente and Carme Puertolas gave the lecture “Three paths to creative photography: a selection of Spanish contemporary photographers”. This presentation, after an initial introduction to different creative strategies of photographic production, focused on the analysis of the work of photographers Chema Madoz, Jordi Bernadó and Joan Fontcuberta.
On April 22, professors Manel Clemente and Carles Torné gave the lecture “Controversial monuments in contemporary Europe: Removal, conservation and creation of new memorials. The case of Catalonia”. This presentation, linked to a long-term research project, was carried out through a first introduction to the memory policies of contemporary Europe based on a selection of images by Manel Clemente of commemorative monuments in Moscow, Sofia, Tirana, Vilnius / Grutas Park, Tallinn, Bucharest and Kiev. He then focused on the context of the Spanish state and especially Catalonia, based on the monuments commemorating the Civil War designed both during the Franco dictatorship and during the transition and democracy to the present day, giving special relevance to those dedicated to the figure of Lluís Companys.
During their stay, the three professors visited the different departments of the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design of the George Enescu National University of Arts in Iași. This faculty offers studies in Fine Arts, Applied Arts and Design at Bachelor’s, master's and doctoral levels. Their visit served to consolidate the institutional agreement with our school and prepare future common projects within the framework of the ERASMUS + program.
