From Abroad 2018-19. Talks and lectures in English about Art and Design

After coming back from their ERASMUS mobilities the teachers Ingrid Marquès, Carles Torné, Dani Seguí, Abel del Castillo, Susanna Solórzano, Carme Puértolas, Alícia Ferre, Jordi Badal, Cristina Ruiz, Júlia Cuyàs and Manel Clemente will make an oral presentation of their experience at the different institutions they visited.
Ingrid Marquès visited the Facultade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto (Portugal) from 11th to 15th February 2019 in order to deliver the workshop “Lettering: Idioms and Sayings”. The main theme of this workshop is to work with students from several institutions in the same project using typical idioms and expressions from their languages.
Ingrid Marquès, joined by the ERASMUS coordinators Manel Clemente and Carles Torné also visited the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art, University of West Bohemia, Pilsen (Zcech Republic) from 25th to 29th March 2019. She delivered the workshop “Lettering: Idioms and Sayings” and Manel Clemente and Carles Torné made a presentation of the institution EASD Pau Gargallo and ESDAP Catalunya.
Abel del Castillo and Dani Seguí visited the Accademia di Beli Arti di Brera (Milano, Italia) from 20th to 23rd of March. They delivered the animation workshop “About a creative toast”. This project is related to an international animation project shared by Brera Academy and EASD Pau Gargallo which tries to approach the two institutions through a simbolic toast between the spirits Anis del Mono (Badalona) and Ramazzoti (Milano).
The teachers Jordi Badal and Cristina Ruiz also visited this institution from 8th to 12th April 2019. Jordi Badal delivered the lecture and workshop "L'immagine a 360º" while Cristina Ruiz delivered some lectures about Catalan modernist arquitecture. They both delivered these lectures in Italian.
The teachers Sussana Solórzano, Alícia Ferre and Carme Puértolas visited the Pedagogical University of Cracow (Poland) from 27th to 29th April 2019. They presented our institutions EASD Pau Gargallo and ESDAP Catalunya and delivered a workshop about Cyanotipe.
Manel Clemente visited the School of Arts an Design / University of Jordan in Amman (Jordan) from 31st March to 4th April 2019. This mobility was connected to the agreement between the consortium Eramus CARTES –one of its members is ESDAP Cataluya- and some institutions from non European Union countries as for instance Albania, Jordania and India.
He made some presentations about ESDAP Catalunya and EASD Pau Gargallo, and delivered the lecture “In search of the Fine Art Photography”.
Júlia Cuyàs visited the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallin (Estonia) from 1st to 5th April 2019. The purpose of her mobility consisted in contacting some teachers from this institution so as to prepare future international projects.
On the other hand the overall objectives of these mobilities also consisted in strengthening the relationship between our institutions and building collaboration between teachers and students from EASD Pau Gargallo and ESDAP Catalunya and the different institutions visited by the teachers.

Després de tornar de les seves mobilitats ERASMUS, els professors Ingrid Marquès, Carles Torné, Dani Seguí, Abel del Castillo, Susanna Solórzano, Carme Puértolas, Alícia Ferre, Jordi Badal, Cristina Ruiz, Júlia Cuyàs i Manel Clemente faran una presentació de la seva experiència a les diferents institucions que van visitar.
Ingrid Marquès va visitar la Facultat de Belles Arts de la Universitat de Porto (Portugal) de l'11 al 15 de febrer de 2019 per realitzar el taller “Lettering: Idioms and Sayings”. El tema principal d'aquest workshop és treballar amb estudiants de diferents institucions sobre un mateix projecte utilitzant dites i expressions típiques dels seus idiomes.
Ingrid Marquès, acompanyada per Manel Clemente i Carles Torné, coordinadors ERASMUS, també va visitar la Facultat de Disseny i Art Ladislav Sutnar de la Universitat de Bohemia Occidental, Pilsen (República Checa) del 25 al 29 de març de 2019. Va impartir el taller “Lettering: Idioms and Sayings” i Manel Clemente i Carles Torné van fer una presentació de les institucions de EASD Pau Gargallo i ESDAP Catalunya.
Abel del Castillo i Dani Seguí van visitar l'Accademia di Beli Arti di Brera (Milà, Itàlia) del 20 al 23 de març. Van impartir el taller d’animació "Sobre un brindis creatiu". Aquest projecte està relacionat amb un projecte internacional d'animació compartit per Brera Academy i EASD Pau Gargallo que tracta d'apropar les dues institucions a través d'un brindis simbòlic entre les begudes Anís del Mono (Badalona) i Ramazzoti (Milà).
Els professors Jordi Badal i Cristina Ruiz també van visitar aquesta institució del 8 al 12 d'abril de 2019. Jordi Badal va impartir la conferència i el taller "L'imagine a 360º", mentre que Cristina Ruiz va impartir una conferència sobre l'arquitectura catalana modernista. Tots dos van realitzar aquestes xerrades en italià.
Les professores Susanna Solórzano, Alícia Ferre i Carme Puértolas van visitar la Universitat Pedagògica de Cracòvia (Polònia) del 27 al 29 d'abril de 2019. Van presentar les nostres institucions EASD Pau Gargallo i ESDAP Catalunya i van impartir un taller sobre cianotipia.
Manel Clemente va visitar la Escola de Arts i Disseny / Universitat de Jordània a Amman (Jordània) del 31 de març al 4 d'abril de 2019. Aquesta mobilitat va estar relacionada amb l'acord entre el consorci Erasmus CARTES –un dels seus membres és ESDAP Catalunya- i algunes institucions de països de fora de la Unió Europea, com ara Albània, Jordània i l'Índia. Va fer presentacions sobre ESDAP Catalunya i EASD Pau Gargallo i va impartir la xerrada “In search of the Fine Art Photography”.
Júlia Cuyàs va visitar l’Acadèmia d’Arts d’Estònia a Tallin (Estònia) de l’1 al 5 d’abril de 2019. La seva mobilitat tenia com a objectiu contactar amb alguns professors d’aquesta institució per preparar futurs projectes internacionals.
D'altra banda, els objectius generals d'aquestes mobilitats també van consistir a enfortir la relació entre les nostres institucions i construir col·laboracions entre professors i estudiants de l'EASD Pau Gargallo i ESDAP Catalunya i les diferents institucions visitades.
